New Tricks is a band that formed spontaneously through regular jam sessions in my basement. My band mates are three exceptional young musicians with deep muscial roots and very open ears. I've enjoyed their optimism and look forward to a long-lived collaboration. Without piano or guitar to explicitly define the chord progressions of our music, we are free to stretch the possiblities.
